The airport currently has three discrete lounges for premium passengers. Located on an upper level accessed by escalators from the departures area at Gate 15 and overlooking the main apron, the Gulf Air First and Business Class lounge offers an exclusive concept of waiter service, a separate family room and electronic video games room for children as well as full business facilities.

A further two new luxurious airline lounges 200 m² and 700 m² in size also accessed by escalator opposite Gate 16 were opened in 2005. The first for Cathay Pacific's premium passengers and the second the "Dilmun" Lounge(operated by Bahrain Airport Services for other airlines premium passengers) includes the latest wi-fi technology permitting free internet access.The lounges offer complimentary snacks and beverages, business and family facilities as well as rest rooms, shower facilities and satellite TV.
