    World Air Cargo Event :: February 12th – 14th 2008

February 12th – 14th 2008

Bahrain International Exhibition Centre

The Middle East has been the location for The World Air Cargo Event since 2006. In 2008 the event will be held in Bahrain and our world class conference and exhibition will be staged at the state-of-the-art Bahrain International Exhibition Centre on February 12th – 14th 2008.

In the past two years, delegates and visitors from around the world have attended our first class exhibition and conference to meet new business partners and debate the changing world of air cargo in a region that is experiencing rapid logistics growth. Senior figures from influential companies ensure the topics that matter are presented in a professional and thought provoking manner.

A growing demand by major companies to have a presence at this prestigious event resulted in 50% more exhibition space being sold and increased numbers of delegates and visitors made the event a worthwhile experience for all.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the Air Cargo News team for the successful event that was held in Dubai. With all the professional management and impressive level of planning, preparations and organising, over and above the high level of support and cooperation we witnessed that made Saudia Cargo’s participation a success”. Mohammed H. Alfi, Manager, Saudi Arabian Airlines

NOW Bahrain in 2008!

As the first nation in the Gulf to discover oil in 1932, Bahrain was also the first to diversify its economy. Today's, Bahrain's fast-growing economy attracts a higher proportion of foreign investment and has become a major regional hub for air cargo.

Bahrain Civil Aviation Authority, head of aviation marketing, Waleed Fakhro stated "the country's Civil Aviation Affairs will place its full support behind the event to help ensure its success".

Gulf Air has been announced as official carrier for this event and Des Vertannes, (former) Head of Cargo, Gulf Air, said "I am delighted for Bahrain to have the opportunity to host this prestigious industry event that draws all the key players in the air cargo supply chain."
