Transportation Ministry praised

Deputy King Shaikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa yesterday received at Riffa Palace Transportation Minister Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa who presented him with a miniature of Bahrain International Airport's new control tower as a commemorative gift.

The Deputy King hailed the efforts exerted by the Transportation Ministry in executing development plans to cope with the growing activity of air travel and cargo and to boost the kingdom's status in terms of civil aviation services.

He also hailed the civil aviation staff and their abilities to meet the requirements of this vital sector.

Present at the meeting were head of Crown Prince's court, Shaikh Khalifa bin Daij bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and Transportation Under-Secretary for Civil Aviation Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Qa'oud.
