State of the Art Smoking Cabin at BIA

As part of its commitment to improving facilities for Airport users, Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) has recently installed a state-of-the-art smoking cabin at Bahrain International Airport (BIA).
The initiative comes as BAC is continually looking to improving the facilities and environment at the Airport for all users, especially passengers, by providing them with the latest solutions in the aim for a better travelling experience.
The cabin is located by Gate 17 in the Departure’s hall. Manufactured in the Netherlands by PLYMOVENT which has been in the indoor air quality business for 30 years, the cabin has a 4-way filter system which prevents smoke from escaping when the door is opened for entry/exit. If proved successful, BAC will explore the possibility of installing more cabins for the convenience of Airport passengers.
