Bahrain Airport Company welcomes pilgrim passengers at Bahrain International Airport

Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) welcomed pilgrims arriving from the holy city of Mecca at Bahrain International Airport (BIA). Chocolate boxes and Arabic coffee were distributed to the pilgrims upon their arrival. More than 5,500 pilgrims traveled through BIA this year.

Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), the operator and managing body of Bahrain International Airport, received the Bahrain National Football Team after winning the West Asian Football Federation crown. They were welcomed at Bahrain International Airport with the water salute.

Bahrain Airport Company Chief Executive Officer visits Bahrain International Airport during Eid al-Adha

Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) Chief Executive Officer Mohamed Yousif Al Binfalah visited Bahrain International Airport during the second day of Eid al-Adha along with a number of senior management. The visit included greeting BAC staff and stakeholders who work during the Eid holidays to ensure a seamless passenger journey.

Bahrain Airport Company Chief Executive Officer shares leadership and administration insights to HIPO members

Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) Chief Executive Officer Mohamed Yousif Al Binfalah shared his insight into leadership and administration as part of the 10th annual Youth City 2030, the country’s largest youth training camp. Mr Al Binfalah met with Bahraini youngsters and representatives from the Bahrain Institute of Public Administration, highlighting BAC’s commitment to Bahrainisation, capacity building through the Tahleeq training programme, and the progress of the new Passenger Terminal Building. Youth City aims to develop the talent of young Bahrainis in key areas such as media, information technology, arts, languages, science, and sports. Bahrain Institute of Public Administration Chief Executive Officer Dr. Raed Shams attended the presentation as well.

Bahrain International Airport records surge in passengers

A total of 127,990 passengers travelled through Bahrain International Airport (BIA) from July 10 to 14, one of the busiest periods of the year. This surge comes on the back of the peak summer season, which sees an influx of travellers departing and arriving in the Kingdom. Team members from Bahrain Airport Company, the Ministry of Interior, and Bahrain Airport Services took coordinated action to smoothly and efficiently handle the annual spike in passenger traffic.
