Hala Bahrain to welcome visitors arriving for Bahrain International Airshow 2018

Hala Bahrain, the premium hospitality and support services provider at Bahrain International Airport (BIA), signed an agreement with the organisers of the Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) 2018 to ensure VIPs and guests arriving for the airshow receive a warm Bahraini welcome. Hala Bahrain, the event’s official meet and greet service provider, will deliver its signature local hospitality through high quality services, with trained personnel located at various parts at the show.

Hala Bahrain, a subsidiary of BAC, will also showcase its packages, services, and facilities in front of the global aerospace community during the BIAS 2018 Exhibition, the largest in the series to date. Exhibitor numbers are up 70 per cent from 2016 and the Exhibition Hall has doubled in size, spanning 9,000 sqm.

Held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the supervision of BIAS Supreme Organising Committee Chairman, His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the show will take place from 14 to 16 November at Sakhir Air Base. It is being organised by the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications and the Royal Bahraini Air Force, in association with Farnborough International.

Hala Bahrain Chairman, Mohamed Yousif Al Binfalah said: “The biennial BIAS draws thousands of visitors from across the region and beyond. Hala Bahrain’s goal is to ensure they enjoy a pleasant, stress-free, and seamless airport experience that reflects the warm hospitality Bahrain is known for. BIAS also provides an ideal platform for Hala Bahrain to showcase the exceptional hospitality services and facilities it will offer at the new Passenger Terminal Building when it is launched in 2019.”

His Excellency the Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications and Chairman of Gulf Air Group Holding, Eng. Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed recently revealed that US-based Champollion has finalised the designs for Hala Bahrain’s upcoming 300 sqm Arrivals and 2,700 sqm Departures lounges at the new Passenger Terminal Building. BAC is waiting to receive bids to build the lounges, aiming to ensure that all construction is finished before the new terminal’s launch.

Hala Bahrain also offers lounge, concierge, and Commercially Important Person (CIP) handling services as well as various airside and landside transportation solutions that improve the overall airport experience.
